The Siemens Diagnostics DCA 2000 Reagent kit for HBA1C is used to measure the level of glycated hemoglobin in a blood sample. The glycated hemoglobin level is an indicator of how well the patient is controlling their blood sugar levels. The kit contains a vial of reagent powder, a vial of liquid concentrate, and a pair of latex gloves. The reagent powder is mixed with the liquid concentrate to create a working solution. The patient's blood is drawn and added to the working solution. The solution is then analyzed by the DCA 2000 blood sugar analyzer to determine the glycated hemoglobin level.
