REFUND POLICY
HIMKHAND.COM – Official Return & Refund Policy

We have a 30-day policy window, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request an eligible return-related review. Return and refund eligibility vary for domestic and international orders as detailed below.
⚠️ Order Confirmation, Cancellation & Chargeback Policy (Important)
This policy applies uniformly to both domestic and international orders, irrespective of refund ,delivery timelines, customs clearance, or third-party courier delays. 
Once an order is successfully placed and payment is confirmed on himkhand.com, the order enters procurement and fulfillment processing which may include sourcing through authorized third-party vendors, logistics partners, manufacturing/packaging facilities, or established marketplaces. Such fulfilment (including third-party packaging, invoices, or courier branding) shall be deemed valid and compliant performance of the order.

Any cancellation request raised after order confirmation but before dispatch shall NOT be eligible for refund, as procurement costs, food safety handling, packaging, and operational commitments are already incurred.

Customers expressly acknowledge and agree that raising a payment gateway chargeback or bank dispute after order confirmation does not override this policy, and such disputes will be contested with documentary evidence, including proof of order confirmation, procurement initiation, packaging/label generation, and shipping arrangements.

If the customer receives the product and claims any issue relating to damage, defect, mismatch, leakage, broken seal, missing item, or discrepancy, such claim shall be considered valid only if:
(a) a clear and continuous unboxing video is recorded before opening the package, and
(b) the issue is reported in writing within 24 hours of delivery to our official email ID.

In the absence of a proper unboxing video and timely written communication, the order shall be deemed correct, accepted, and fully delivered.

Any chargeback, bank dispute, or payment reversal raised without complying with the above conditions — including disputes based on fulfilment source, packaging origin, natural batch variation, delivery delay, or post-delivery claims — shall be treated as invalid and will be contested with documentary and fulfilment evidence, except where legally mandated.

All product images shown are for illustration and informational purposes only. Since Himkhand sells natural, herbal, and food-based products, actual product color, aroma, texture, granularity, taste notes, packaging print shade, label layout, and batch appearance may vary due to seasonal raw-material changes, manufacturing batches, vendor updates, or regulatory label updates. Such natural or packaging variations do not qualify as a defect or misrepresentation and do not constitute grounds for refund/return.
🇮🇳 1. DOMESTIC (INDIA) ORDERS
1. Food / Nutrition Products – No Return Policy (Strict)
Due to hygiene, safety, and consumable compliance, all food, nutrition, edible, ingestible, and consumable products are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable once delivered. This includes herbs, powders, spices, superfoods, ghee, oils, snacks, teas, supplements, and any sealed consumable items. Change of mind, taste preference, aroma, texture, or natural batch variation is not eligible for return/refund.
2. Gift / Non-Food Items – Return Eligibility (Limited)
Return is applicable only for gift items / non-food items (i.e., any item that is not edible/consumable), and only under the strict conditions of: (a) continuous unboxing video, (b) complaint within 24 hours, and (c) unused condition with intact packaging and tags. Items used, opened, tampered, or consumed are not eligible.
3. Refund Policy – Wallet First (Himkhand Wallet)
If the order is not fulfilled by the company or is canceled by the customer within the allowable period (only where cancellation is accepted at company discretion), the paid amount will be refunded to the company’s digital wallet ("Himkhand Wallet"). The wallet balance can only be used to buy products from www.himkhand.com and is non-transferable.
4. Refund Channel & Processing Charge Clause
Where a return is approved under the limited conditions:
• The buyer must ship the item back at their own expense using an insured, trackable courier.
• Returned items must be unused and intact with all tags and packaging.

After inspection and approval, refunds are processed as follows:
• By default, all approved refunds are credited to the customer’s Himkhand Wallet.
• If the customer requests a refund to the original payment method, the company will deduct a 20% processing and transaction fee to cover gateway, packaging, and administrative costs.
• Refunds to original source are initiated only after verification and may take up to 15 business days to reflect, depending on the bank or card issuer.

This mechanism ensures transparency while protecting both customer and merchant from unjustified losses or disputes.
5. Exchange Policy (Only for Eligible Gift/Non-Food Items)
Exchanges are permitted only in cases of genuine issues with size, pattern, or design (where applicable to non-food items). Customers must return the product in its original condition with complete packaging and bear the return shipping costs. Once received, it will undergo a quality verification check. Upon approval, customers will be notified by email/phone, and a replacement will be arranged. A standard re-dispatch charge of ₹250/- applies for all eligible exchanges.
6. Third-Party / Marketplace Fulfilment & Customer Confirmation
For some products (including certain gift/non-food items), availability may vary due to supplier constraints. In such cases, a substitute of the same product family/specification may be dispatched. As dispatch confirmation emails may sometimes contain only the order number without full product details, customers are required to verify and confirm within 24 hours of receiving the tracking email whether the dispatched product corresponds to their order. Confirmation must be sent in writing to info@myblacktree.com. If any issue is identified and reported within this 24-hour window, the company may hold dispatch and initiate appropriate resolution. In absence of such confirmation, the order shall be deemed correct and accepted (except where legally required).
7. Drop-Shipping Orders (Domestic)
Certain products are sourced from manufacturers/vendors only after an order is placed (drop-shipping). Such orders may require an additional 15–20 business days compared to standard delivery timelines. In rare cases, the supplier may face stock shortages or delays. Customers placing such orders acknowledge these risks and agree that fulfillment timelines may vary and do not qualify for chargeback/refund merely due to delay.
8. Cancellation & Refunds for Unfulfilled Orders
If the order cannot be fulfilled due to supplier or logistics constraints, or is canceled by the customer within the allowable period (only if accepted by the company), the paid amount will be refunded as per Section 3. Refunds processed to Himkhand Wallet may only be redeemed for future purchases from www.himkhand.com.
9. Contact & Return Request Process (Eligible Non-Food/Gift Items Only)
To start a return request (only if eligible), you can contact us at marketing@myblacktree.com or info@myblacktree.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions. Items sent back without prior written approval will not be accepted.
Damages and issues: Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, leaking, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right (subject to the mandatory unboxing video rule).
Exceptions / non-returnable items: Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food), custom products, opened consumables, personal care goods, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
General Safeguard & Legal Acceptance: By placing an order on our website, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions. These conditions are designed to protect customers through transparent communication, while also safeguarding the company’s operational ability to deliver effectively.
🌍 2. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
1️⃣ Product Representation & Authenticity
All images, descriptions, and specifications on himkhand.com are for illustrative and brand-representative purposes only. Since Himkhand products may involve natural ingredients and batch-based manufacturing, minor variation in color/aroma/texture/packaging does not qualify as defect or misrepresentation.
2️⃣ Order Finality for International Shipments
All international orders become final and non-returnable once dispatched and export-cleared. Returns or exchanges are allowed only when:
• The item received is materially different from the product family ordered, and
• The courier’s official damage/discrepancy report plus an unboxing video is submitted within 24 hours of delivery.

All other situations — including refusal to accept delivery, non-availability, change of mind, taste preference, natural batch variation, or non-payment of import duties — remain fully billable and non-refundable.
3️⃣ Refusal of Delivery & Return-to-Origin (RTO)
If the buyer or recipient refuses delivery for any reason, the shipment will be automatically treated as Return-to-Origin (RTO). All freight, customs, storage, re-import, and handling costs incurred in such return shall be deducted from the buyer’s payment. If these charges exceed the paid amount, no refund will be issued, and the goods may be lawfully liquidated or written-off to offset the loss. This clause completely discharges MyBlackTree India Pvt. Ltd. from any further financial or delivery liability.
4️⃣ Return Authorization (If Approved Under Exception)
Where a return is approved under the limited conditions:
• The buyer must ship the item back at their own expense using an insured, trackable international courier.
• All customs duties and taxes must be prepaid by the buyer.
• Returned items must be unused and intact with all packaging.

• If the customer requests a refund to the original payment method, the company will deduct a 20% processing and transaction fee to cover gateway, currency-conversion, compliance, and administrative costs.
• Refunds to the original source are initiated only after verification and may take up to 15 business days to reflect depending on the bank/card issuer.
5️⃣ Customs & Local Taxes
All international shipments are sent under DAP (Delivered At Place) terms. Import duties, VAT, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Failure to pay these charges automatically voids any eligibility for refund or replacement.
6️⃣ Drop-Shipping Orders (International)
Certain international orders may be fulfilled through drop-shipping or specialized sourcing after order placement. Such orders may require an additional 15–25 business days beyond standard timelines depending on supplier location, compliance checks, export processing, and courier pickup schedules. International transit is also subject to customs inspection, which may add 3–10 business days or more. These delays do not qualify for refunds or chargebacks.
7️⃣ Cancellations Before Dispatch
Orders may be cancelled only before the shipping label is generated and export clearance begins. Once dispatch processing starts, the order becomes irrevocably confirmed and non-refundable (refund, if any, is wallet-based only as per this policy).
8️⃣ Payment Security & Chargeback Waiver
All payments are processed through compliant payment gateways. Once a shipment is export-cleared and handed to the carrier, the transaction is legally fulfilled. By completing checkout, the buyer waives the right to initiate any chargeback/dispute for covered reasons. Any attempted reversal will be defended using documented carrier handover and export records.
9️⃣ Shipping Timelines (International)
Dispatch window: 7 – 15 working days after order confirmation (may extend in drop-shipping cases).
Delivery window: 7 – 15 business days post-dispatch (subject to customs clearance and local conditions).
Transit delays beyond our control do not qualify for refunds or chargebacks.
