Directions

1. Wash and dry your hands thoroughly before testing.
2. Insert a Contour Next Test Strip into the meter; the device will turn on automatically.
3. Use the lancing device to obtain a small blood drop (finger or approved alternate site).
4. Gently touch the blood drop to the test strip tip. The Strip will automatically sip in the blood sample.
5. Wait for the 5-second countdown to view your glucose reading.
6. If not enough blood was applied, use the second-chance feature to add more blood within 20 seconds.
7. Record your results and review your 7, 14, or 30-day averages as needed. Dispose of strip and lancet safely after use.
