Directions

1. Wash and dry hands thoroughly before testing.
2. Insert a Contour Next strip into your Contour Next family meter.
3. Use the lancing device to collect a drop of blood from your fingertip or alternate testing site (as recommended by your healthcare provider).
4. Touch the test strip tip to the blood drop. The strip will quickly draw in the sample.
5. If needed, use Second-Chance Sampling to apply more blood within 60 seconds without using a new strip.
6. Wait for your reading (usually 5 seconds), then record your result as needed.
7. Safely dispose of the used strip and lancet.
