Directions

1. Wash and dry your hands thoroughly before testing.
2. Insert an Accu-Chek Performa test strip into your Accu-Chek® Performa Meter until it turns on.
3. Use a lancing device to obtain a small drop (minimum 0.6 μL) of blood from your fingertip or alternate site.
4. Touch the edge of the test strip to the blood drop; capillary action will fill the strip quickly.
5. Wait a few seconds for your blood glucose result to appear on the meter display.
6. Dispose of the used test strip and lancet in accordance with local guidelines and proper sharps disposal procedures.
7. Store unused test strips in their original container, tightly closed, at room temperature.
